        Feels fantastic to wear

        My wife got me the olive wax briar jacket for Christmas last year. I’ve enjoyed seeing the OU product line mature and expand over the years. This is my favorite piece!

        Absolutely love the looks and feel of this coat.

        The only draw backs I've experienced after using it several times is that the zipper can be a real pain to get started. It's a bit clunky. When you go to put a dead bird in the pouch, you have to take your coat off, or have a buddy help put it in. There is absolutely no way to get the bird in with the pouch placement on your back. The way the coat rides when it's got 2 or 3 pheasants in it is also makes walking long distances wear on your traps and neck. Would be awesome to have shell holder's in the pockets.

        BUT this is a 100% heirloom that is built in the most traditional fashion. It was not designed like today's modern vests because that isn't what this coat is all about. It's old school cool, built like a tank, and will sweat you out with a little layering underneath.

        Best Waxed Canvas Jacket Ever

        My wife just got me one of these bad boys. I have to say even just by looks alone during the unboxing you could tell that this is an extremely well made jacket. When you actually get your hands on it you can feel the quality of the material used. workmanship put into this jacket and attention to detail such as the substancial zippers and brass buttons. Pictures alone don’t do this jacket justice! Can’t wait for the Fall and cooler weather to field test it but I am not worried. Better price and better quality than a lot of other wax cotton jackets out there. Get one or give one you won’t regret it.
